Heya, long time no forum. I see this thread never got replied to, but i'm also gonna be in istanbul from tuesday the 2nd to the end of the weekend? I seemed to remember that there was some turkish bots here, but i cant be sure. But whether or not you live there, if you got any knowledge about:

Nightlife
Recordshopping/recordfairs
Bookshops
Must-see attractions that might not be in the guidebooks
General tips

Okay so I been to turkey 2 times now.. mainly in kusadasi.. but also izmir..

from what I can figure out:

Kusadasi - Mainly a resprt town with absolutely no live music, music stores, and the only dance clubs are for university students at a place called Bar street.. pretty much is really lame.. for some reason (probably alot of irish ex-patriots/toursists) all the bars on this street are irish pub themed which seems totally gay.. AND there is no gay bars.. which is even more gay.. It's just me using ktunnel to check out naked ladies online cuz there is nothing to do and porn is forbidden in this muslim country

Izmir - huge city, I didnt get  a chance to check out the scene but i found the only synth shop and it is mostly casio keyboards(new ones) like those organ keyboards.. and they had some ea-1s and er-1s Selling them NEW which is really weird.. damn If there is alot going on in istanbul i dont know but so far everything is ass backwards over here regarding the electro scene..

**NOTE

Really hot girls everywhere but I dont think they r down to bone like in europe and USA..
