i use these to merge 2 x R8M 8 outputs via 88 of these ones:

to get a set of 8x merged outputs 1-8 from R8M-a & R8M-b on 8 of those cables.

not that much that i noticed it, but those r8s are hot on the outputs...maybe a tr808 is weaker, but i doubt that smile
and you can always gain after merging.....drive em baby tongue

Yup.. I got my custom mergers working now anyway, i guess they are sort of passive mixers so everybody win!

Soo.. I realized i wanted my 909 online too so i just gave up and bought a 1u rack mixer. The fuck!
