okay, x-mas 2008 is over... so what is left?
probably a big belly from all that eating, maybe some nice memories and some gifts that made you happy
(got a pair of little epos speakers, so finally i can listen to records again, what makes me super happy!).
but i'm sure you guys also received the one or the other gift where you thought:
euh... what the hell am i going to do with that shit?
so let me start with this:
wew... this candle is really ugly... hahaha
Well, every year my sister offers me records, but really crappy ones...
This year, oh surprise, she offered me the gang KKK bootleg, I have the original, so not so useless to play it in party (it sound really bad compared to the original by the way). The funny detail, is that she bought it for face B (Onyx), telling me that the other face is not that good... Well, sister, stop buy me some records, your taste is too dubbious... hahaha
And off course I also had a candle...
my brother gave me this... it's a dog-butt-towel-holder... not sure if I want to look at a dog's ass everyday. It's the thought that counts though
On the plus side I got a nice original artwork, a "Madmen" DVD and a tiny 8GB usb memory stick.
I don't know which is more alarming to look at, it's butt, or it's nut sack.

hm. this year I only got nice stuff ! a Hohner melodica, something I wanted for a long time. also a 'Moog pack' containing the Moog dvd movie and the book 'Analog days'

QofB im having a miserable xmas so far but your post made me cry with laughter. Then i realised that perhaps I myself was guilty of having bought the worst xmas gift - its not entirely useless though so a little off topic

-> she's actually sitting next to me in the agency which i work for. we did a wichtel party with selfmade gifts the other day and i had the bad luck to grab the note with her name on it. the others were laughing their ass off, because they all knew that whatever it will be, i won't like it! even she was like: oh, bella... i'm so sorry for you! but well, at least everyone had a good laugh... especially when i said that i hate mon cherie. oh, and no, she's never been to my place!
it's not useless, but i'm posting since it very nearly killed me!
i was given this packet of chocolates:
and after a couple of times, i went to pour some into my hand, and looked down, and this was sitting in my hand:
it's a marble! (the chocolates are around that size, a little smaller, if you don't know them.) and it wasn't put in the packet as a joke - the packet was sealed. if i hadn't looked down at my hand before i ate the other chocolates, i would have probably put it into my mouth and choked!
