@ Mono : for the ipad?
yes
Bought this crazy bitch on Ebay tonight. The one I bought is beat to hell but these are crazy hard to find.
Listen to the beats at Dubsounds
did you also get the Hulk pinball machine?
just missing a bit of the A/B selector on the right side.. already ordered a new one! and a couple knobs like the volume & tempo that i can vampirise my DR-55 for
should be home by monday
ages since i posted but later last year i finally got a sp1200 black reissue. i think it's the most i've spent on any equipment as they never come cheap. sounds great and quite fast work process. will be interesting to compare to my emax and i'll post up results if anyones interested.
also got an old akai s900 for virtually nothing. crazy as its capable of so much more than the sp really. i must be going through a golden age hiphop phase...
conrats with the drm32, plikes! i'm dreaming of one...

congratz Tony, what a beast!
and nice history attached to it..
@ Freek, no i didn't notice the Hulk pinball at first..
Nice find, once more TC! Minimoog is out of this world. Such a big sounding synth. There are synths that are too good for me to even consider to own, the Minimoog is one of 'em...
I got an old digital camcorder as a present, hope to be making some music video clips soon
And I ordered a GP2X Wiz last week. It's a small handheld device that is similar to a Gameboy, but it runs Linux and there are lots of ported emulators for it. Of course you can also develop your own stuff for it.
Maybe there's also some ported music apps, I haven't checked that out yet, but it lies within the realm of possibility of course
It hasn't arrived though, as UPS doesn't do deliveries on Saturdays so I hope it will arrive this evening...
There are synths that are too good for me to even consider to own
bah, never say never Brian, sometimes it's the synths that find you..

right on, just pass 'm on to me

I love pinball machines but I can imagine they go unnoticed while topped by an 808
Thanks guys,
I agree it's really big sounding, and intuitive to use too.
I always dismissed it as a Prog-rocker's synth, like a synth for guys with pony tails, but of course I was still attracted to the mini. So I understand what you mean Brian, but Olivier is right indeed, the synths find you!
fantastic score Tony! I wouldn't mind growing a pony tail if that makes me eligible to a super deal on a minimoog
Roland M-16DX for 258e!
Nobody knows about this thing... it's like a secret weapon (lol), especially with 18 simultaneous analog to USB adc inputs. So you can record every single input AND record the main mixdown.
The cool/strange part is that you can move the mixer around anywhere you like because it's only connected with one data cable to the I/O box.
I had been using its little brother, the M-10DX with my 22-channel passive summer for my last few EPs so I already know it'll sound great.
yeah that M16DX is awesome, very cool looking unit, I also use the little M10DX as a submixer for the Roland R8, sounds good indeed! And not to forget those nice eq knobbies
FINALLY my UBK Fatso is on it's way.. Hope I get that shit tomorrow

haha that's awesome tony!
congrats on the find! man, 2600 & mini.. a nice start to 2011 (though i guess the arp was end of 2010)
I'm buying a plan B M15 oscillator! A friend got a deal on two when he only wanted one, so I'm buying the second from him. yay!
now, to start to make up a basic collection of modules to get my tiny eurorack setup a bit more usable.
I already have the 3 main parts of the A129 doepfer vocoder, which was the main reason I even started a eurorack a few years ago. And then managed to add an A110 VCO and the A116 VC waveform processor when the opportunities arose.
Now I have a serious oscillator to go with the A110 I think I want to expand it to contain a set of basic synth parts, then add a few more sound mangling options later. I'm not planning on going past three 3u racks of modules all up. I figure that things like my frostwave resonator and filterbank can also do a lot hooked into the euro stuff.

That's what they all say
Now with right thread..
This combo.. Yeah.. Its pretty awesome
Oh right, and this SSL clone built by some guy who used to work for SSL and DBX apparently.. Its quite smashing!
