Topic: Tel Aviv

I'm going to Israel at the end of february. First a one week study trip around Israel, primarely Jerusalem, 11 - 19th Feb. But After that I'm staying by myself for another week. Most likely I'll crash at a friend's place in Tel Aviv, 19-26th Feb.

It's my first time in Israel, so I'm really excited. Any tips? Any parties? Maybe even a gig I can play?

Food, museums, architecture, bars, clubs. Anything of interest!

cheers

Re: Tel Aviv

nice,
not sure about parties yet.
as for the rest, i'll write more soon...
and let see if there any free date for a gig

will be great seeing you in TLV / Jerusalem (i'm live in tlv, but find myself at least once a week in jeruz)

Re: Tel Aviv

I like those semi-legal little drinking places where people can smoke and have a drink and a chat with good music... They are spread all over town.

Ive been in Tel Aviv just for one week after my super bicycle journey from Holland to Israel last summer. Spend most of the time on the beach so didnt do much sight seeing or partying....

I was rather disappointed about Israel, had much higher expectations......

cycling around a planet called 'Earth'

Re: Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv has much Bauhaus/International Style architecture. I had a google for a good walking map of the White City area, but failed. Maybe if you start off at the Bauhaus centre

@Prinsen
most of the semi legal places are legal, but they don't care about that no smoking law. except few night ago a friend got 1000NIS (±200euro) fine for smoking.
besides i can see how israel can be disappointed... it keep disappointing my for over 3 decades wink

@Techni
the bauhaus center suppose to be 5 minutes from my place, i'll keep update you in mails.
