Topic: What is the genre for new "electro house" shit like Justice
..and i'm not here to talk too much crap about the musicstyle itself.
I just want to know is there a genre name for music like Justice, Boys noize, Shadow dancer, (new) Huoratron and all that side-chain-compressor-shit-all-teh-kids-listen-nowdays?
I mean it has troubled my mind for a long time but i get no real answers from anyone or anywhere.
Googling it gives me nothing but forums with kids blasting stuff like ELECTROOOO! or TECHNOOO!!!
I'm not a genre nazi but it pisses me off that the names electro, techno and house give people mostly somewhat accurate aural images in their heads about what kind of music are we talking about. But when people start talking about that stuff with names like electro house or techno, it all goes mixed up again and no one knows what are we talking about and after that comest the famous ranting about genres and their non-importance or importance.
As i trust you bots to be my accurate source of what goes on in the electronic realm of music, i thought maybe you'd know.
I just want to know how to call this shit, just to have a common language among people. Some of that shit i hate and some i like, but but only few know what i talk about if i talk about sidechainjusticedisco.
I've heard about blog house and fidget house but i'm really not sure is that it.
