The problem with social networks is that it requires you to have friends
i can be your friend 
i was expecting a lot from the'circles' feature
instead it was like this:
i had no exceptions, it does the same thing that facebook does except the chat is better and you can more easily group your friends.. something facebook lacks, but id guess they are working hard to implement now when g+ is here to challenge.
if someone makes a better anything, i'm up for it.

well, time will tell..
lets not forget its just been (beta!) launched and (reportedly) already has more than 10 million accounts. google has been quite smart here imo. i see people being really committed and all excited also. which is great in a way, but also a bit ridiculous imo.
its still an early adopter thing though, which means there are mostly tech and social media geeks around. most posts are about how cool and how much better g+ is and stuff like that. 
have to say though that, in general, i like it so far, i also like the idea of cirkles, theres lots of possibilies..
but my cirkles are still rather empty, so its boring. i have all my friends on fb and i dont feel the need to post stuff twice - on fb and g+. so.. so far its still not that interesting for me.
would be great to be able to kinda merge both though.

google buys fb, moves over the users and shuts it down, problem solved 
i also like googles idea with the circles. My guess is that fb will try to make something similar which will make it harder for google to lure the users to g+. It will for sure be interesting to see what this will lead to
facebook has had the notion of 'grouping' your friends for ages, but I don't think anybody really uses it that much...
i'd like to see fb totally die just for fun of it.
btw which one is ethically m'kay?

@dolcevita facebook recently just changed their chat system and most people don't like it
As of this moment if i look at Google+ the web experience improvement is unlikely to happen with this intended innovation. Google+ is no competitor to facebook. Actually i'm very disappointed in Google. I expected them to make a big step towards the semantic web, or web 3.0 if you like.

Too much people are on facebook. Who wants friend request from parents of friends of you, etc
I like the google+ idea of putting friends into groups, like colleagues, family, friends, etc.
Not sure if that is also possible with facebook, have not looked at it.
i'm on g+ now. does this make me a G? fo life?
