Good thread that brings out the deviants. cool
Been a while since a film gave me the fear.

Though watching Asian horror films on a comedown fills the y-fronts with brown fear.
Need more sober suggestions.

Been a while since I've seen it and I've never seen the full uncut version. This film goes about making quite an obvious point about modernisation and how man can hate difference and treat other people abhorrently, but still a good film. Well shot and some decent gory bits.

Good story about this film is the italian government, on seeing the film, tried to arrest the director on murder charges as he thought the whole thing was some real, sick snuff film. The director had the lead characters sign a disappearence clause (like blair witch) and had to get them to break it to prove his innonence. The italian government, so incensed at this,  then used the animal cruelty in the film to have it banned and the director charged with something!

Two more conceptual horror flicks:

None of them are that good.

Re: Robots for Robots Fright Club

It's not really horror but I've always found Henri - Portrait Of A Serial Killer very disturbing, to say the least. The atmosphere in that movie is cold as ice and super grim. Not a movie you want to watch on a first date (well, the ladies aren't enthousiastic about it).

PS: that necro scene is insane.

"A Real Music Hater"

Re: Robots for Robots Fright Club

same here Ray. henri is one of my long time favorites.
I suggested that austrian movie 'Angst' in the tv thread.  also very cold and grim and cult.

i watched this the other , expecting the best but it didnt work for me.
good horror sequences but inbetween it felt tedious and way too streched.

Re: Robots for Robots Fright Club

this cult movie is really perverted, even by my standards haha.
not as sick as Salo , i mean its still watchable/ enjoyable
lots of influences by Argento and with a dark synth score

english title : in a glass cage
