Topic: Thailand

Thinking of going for about 3 weeks in January...(start end of Dec)
Where should I go? Wanna spend more time in the north - Chiang Mai/Rai and Pai maybe, then a beach and some days in Bangkok. Dont care about parties or  ladyboys  big_smile
Any one been to Koh Lanta? Wanna avoid the most touristy beaches (if thats even possible)...
Any tips appreciated  wink

Re: Thailand

any reccom. on north thailand?

Re: Thailand

Chiang Mai has an amazing vegetarian restauran called Blue Diamond. That and there are loads of cool off road motorbike races round Pai.

Re: Thailand

cheers, I did 8 places for 18 days : Chiang Rai, Mae Salong, Pai, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Sukhotai, Lopburi and Bangkok smile

Re: Thailand

Brilliant route man. Sukothai was cool with the old ruins and  I saw a dub soundsystem just playing in the middle of the road with no one listening or watching very weird but very thai.
