Mine's plenty loud. One of the louder things in the studio so you might want to get that checked.
SHOULD be able to pick these up in a boat at the Fedex depot tomorrow. Customs, Fedex and my local airport have been a damn nightmare the past week. Hope it's ok. Got them for a nice price. For Serge anyway.
Basically finishes off my Blue Fun Station and my Serge. Was waiting forever for a CV2 shop panel to come up used but no dice. This is essentiallly it with some additions. Don't miss the quadrature osc as I use my Zeroscillator in my Modcan A system.
wow plikes.....
sweet
Picked up this morning. They look good. Will test later. He threw in 8 banana to 1/4" cables as well. Vnice.
bought the bass amp of klaus dinger yesterday from a friend since klaus died in 08 I also bought a 12 channel biamp mixing deck and buy another 32 channel mixing desk 40 euro's each
got me a Yamaha SY-77 for 50 euros.
It's a bit broken, but trying to get all the issues fixed. some of the push buttons need replacing, and 3 keys need replacement.
might be doable with my skills.. i hope. looking good
In the last seven days, I bought a Crumar Bit MMK, pair of Dynaudio BM6As and a Dynacord DRP 20X.
I was borrowing my friend's 909 for a couple weeks (same one Jeff Mills uses everytime he plays in NYC) and I decided to buy it from him.
So that means you'll automatically be able to rock it like Mills, right?

ha.. only if he forgets to delete the patterns from his gigs.
A Poly 800 and a DSI MoPho.
Ugliness aside, the mopho sounds much better than I dared to expect. For 200€, it's a very decent analog monosynth.

RS7000 - fancied one for a while. probably sell my MPC to make way for a slightly different approach. phrases etc seem confusing tho till the unit arrives
@rarara - it's super easy: in pattern mode, a song is divided into 16 sections ...and each song has a bank of 256 phrases.
On each of the sections, you can have 16 different instruments (tracks) playing at the same time.
For any one of those tracks, you can choose a phrase for it to play. For example, you could assign Phrase 005 to Section 1 / Track 1 and also Track 3; they would both share the same phrase. If you change the phrase in one place, then all the places that you've put that same phrase will change too.

still sounds odd but should get my paws on it soon enough. how is it purely as a drum machine? tweakable?
@rarara - it's a formidable beast of a drum machine. the midi effects are golden and the real-time midi & sample remixing are the cherry on top.
enough said.
excellent. what is it like for 808 and 909 sounds?
the mpc workflow is good but it can be a bit static in terms of real time manipulation so the rs should be better.

it's great. good sequencer. sound is almost identical to a real 808. i think the kick might be even better. only gripe is the rimshot sound that is not as soft as on the original. but yeah. enjoying it alot!
@rarara - the RS7k has a basic 808/909 sound set (without any variations). It's punchy and well-sampled, as you would expect from Yamaha, however you can hear a bit of high-frequency aliasing on the 808 kick due to the data-compression algorithm. Use your own kick sample instead!
