Looking for more tracks like this.. amazing to think that when I was 3 people where dancing to this records...

These tracks both sound very 'clear' (have FLAC recorded from vinyl), especially the high sounds like the clap.
Is this the result from mastering it differently compared to today? Has this something to do with the Loudness war (wikipedia)?
