Topic: Nothing At Disco

A mix made over the weekend with the sole purpose of trying to escape from the carnaval-lunacy that had taken over 95% of my natural habitat... Figured the best way to do so was to get a descent bag of kush, stock up on coffee, blow the dust off the 7 inches, sort the last fleamarket finds and keeping myself busy indoors for a few days... I managed.

Includes tracks by Kim Harlow, James Last, Who's Who, Leszka Bogdanowicza and The Garnets.

I love that song to death, but the French version I like just a little bit better.. It's 'Who's On The Line' by Kim Harlow.

Re: Nothing At Disco

i love the french version too. problem is it doesn't have that long intro and cool break where the bassline lays alone

In the mix I used the 7" version. I do agree on the easy intro and lovely break, but I found that (at least on my 12" copy) the vocals hiss a little bit, the 7 inch sounds a bit warmer.

Re: Nothing At Disco

hmm i have both too but never noticed that. i will try to compare when i get home today
