Topic: Is my (cheap) USB record player broken?

Hey hey guys!

I play my vinyls with an American Audio TTD-2400 USB. I know I know, it's a cheap one, but suitable for me. Well, I'm not the big dj (not yet big_smile) and I'm happy if I can play my vinyls and rip some of 'em to wave/mp3 from time to time.
But it seems like, that the "ripping-unit" doesn't work anymore. If I only play vinyls to hear them, everything is fine, but if I connect the records player to my pc via USB it sounds like shit...

As you can hear it sounds pretty much "overmodulated". Especially when the kick drum kicks in. wink
I asume, that somethin within the record player is fucked-up. Or can it be a software problem? -> I use Audacity for ripping, but I got the same problems if I try the "Windows Audiorecorder" - therefore I think it must be the record player.

Anybotty experienced similar problems? Any solutions!?

Thx and happy easter! wink
