The Hasbeens sets the collaboration of two of the most preeminent artists of the "west Coast of Holland" : Alden Tyrell & DJ Overdose. This peculiar musical scene appeared as the european answer to Underground Resistance in the early 90's through the Unit Moebius combo and then relieved by artists such as I-f, Legowelt , labels as Bunker, Creme, Clone or the uncredible Intergalactic FM internet radio. Very keen on analogic synth and fervent supporters of a special electronic culture's memory, his fellow members never stops to appropriate disco, italo, original genuine electro, synth-pop, chicago-house or detroit-techno codes with great panache.
Stakhanovist producer, Alden Tyrell, released more than twenty single or album records and countless remixes under his different monikers and side-projects. His electro-disco, imitating a kind of italo naivety, melodic to the bones and deeply influenced by Moroder or Patrick Cowley, destroys the most uncooperative dancefloors !
About DJ Overdose, he's the producer of a whole load of timeless records, under his own name or various side-projects duch as Model Man, Dream Disco, Get it Boyz & above all Novamen (with Mr Pauli). Real turntablist sorcerer, he delightly enjoys to mix early hip-hop with Miami-bass, electro and freestyle to make the crowd go wild !
The gathering of those two musical activists provides an explosive killer vocoder-synth cocktail and their already cult three records, released on Clone & Frustrated Funk are making this totally new live-act in Scop'Club an event that cannot be ignored !
As enthusiastic hosts of this first gig, Noctambulo (ex head-honcho of Elektrosonik crew and premium quality-records seller on Discogs) and his teammate Serge Nicolas (founder of Paradise Massage, Black Bone parties & Stereolize festival) will sail on electro, synth-wave, chicago-house, detroit-techno, italo, nu-disco and other synthetico-electronic seas.
