Topic: What digital multitrack recorder?

Im tired of pc softs and clicks and that...want something quick one button press and you got the .wav file..i was thinking for the Tascam dp 004...200 euros max budget

I have got the fostex MR-8 HD - it's got pretty much everything I need and paid 150 euro including even a flightcase.
One button press you got the wav file ain't really the case though, you need to convert it first on the recorder which normally doesn't take longer than 2 minutes though.
Also it does have a 40gb hard drive, thus no need to constantly pull of something from an SD-card.
Question is what do you need it for? Recording only? Effects are a need or not? Portability yes/no?
The Dp004 looks cool but a bit overpriced seen the little amount of features.
