Rumor has it that Cusato sold all his masters , and that the Radius vinyl had to be repressed from 1983 vinyl copy. Could be a good question to dispel or confirm.

Anyhow good job with the blog and station Casionova. btw never heard back from you after my reply to your mail with mp3.

Re: Magic Waves interviews: F Dalum, Novamen, Fockewulf 190

Nice interviews, the one with Victor Life is very funny... pure ego-trip:

"This work is the fruit of my electronic experimentation applied to sonic frequencies related to the science of numbers of the Sacred Kabbalah. That experience brought me to writing this esoteric novel 'The Golden Last Metamorphosis' , where the main character named "Victor" meets a bi-dimensional entity called "Life" in a recording studio, who after telling his initiation story using the magic of sounds, he leaves in heritage to him the power of electrum..... but I don't know yet when it's going to be finished, maybe the last act still have to be written in real life! I can just say that it's not a classic autobiographical story."

Great blog!  Love the interviews.

Also an SP-1200 lover here, Jay.  Since I saw DJ Kenny Parker using 2 of them live with BDP in 8th grade, I knew I had to have one.

Re: Magic Waves interviews: F Dalum, Novamen, Fockewulf 190

i still need a 1200 i have two 12's but on both saving is kaput.
i want an original one real bad, it's so beautifull almost as beautifull as the 12.

i new i needed one from all the namedropping in the records i love, i saw bdp too but they didn't bring the sp i think.

Re: Magic Waves interviews: F Dalum, Novamen, Fockewulf 190

The 12 looks way way cooler than the 1200 no doubt.  I have a re-issue 1200.  traded my 909 for it at Rogue music in NY in the 90's.  Would like to have that 909 around though.

The one thing I don't like about the 1200 is the noise in the high frequencies when using a kick.  The filter takes out too much, so it's sort of here and there I suppose.
Got my asr-10 as well.

Pete Rock certainly pointed me towards it as well.

Re: Magic Waves interviews: F Dalum, Novamen, Fockewulf 190

but the filters go by degrees, maybe you should put your kick on output 3 or 5, well i guess you already tried.

i don't know if it's the same for the 1200 you have to use the tipring of the jack to use the filters right?

on the 12 you can't pass them you allways need to put sounds to go with the right filtering.

i love the high frequencies in the lows though.
