Re: IFM Top 100 - 2013...your votes

New listeners was/is a important reason (I thought Ference announced something like that in the show) to not have double-entryrules yes. Understandable cause what do they have to do with records that were voted for already three years (last previous one was from 2010 right?) or before that. New listeners are more inportant than fresh titles?...for survival probably yes.

But the list will always be a mix of classix, new discoveries and new releases. It's the mix you could complain about. And there's always something to complain ofcourse cause it's not your list but a list of all listeners who voted.

Re: IFM Top 100 - 2013...your votes

Very chill top 100...
Yes lots of classix but I think we needed such a 'reset' now all the good ol' stuff won't show in the next one and lots of fresh stuff gonna grow high!
I expected more party atmosphere since the show was at a bar, but it gets fun at the end big_smile can't wait for next one!

I'm fairly sure it's less than 50%. More like 25%(or even less). New released stuff that is.

Re: IFM Top 100 - 2013...your votes

I think there should maybe be some kind of weighting going on. Fuck knows how ya'd go about it but brand new releases should get something extra, something from 2013 maybe getting an extra 5 points or whatever at the end.

I'd prefer a top 20, or 25, records of 2013 rather than the same Top 100 again.

Hopefully next one will be more varied.

Fair play, nevertheless.

Re: IFM Top 100 - 2013...your votes

Would be cool if there would be an additional playlist/show with just the songs that are from 2000 or newer.

Re: IFM Top 100 - 2013...your votes

most people seem to have grievances with tracks from the classix channel, so a separate chart for classix channel might make more sense? maybe a classix top 30, which would be played in 6 blocks of 5 interspersed between the other top 70 tracks from the other stations? having the charts completely separate wouldn't wash as it wouldn't be a top 100 without classix, but there definitely has to be a limit.

Maybe take 20 from each channel.

Re: IFM Top 100 - 2013...your votes

There is a huge disparity in the number of people listening to 1 and 2 versus the other channels, I would wager

I think it's gotta be a classics top 50, and everything else top 50

Well, il mafioso is right, indeed... I checked it "by hand"... There are 49 songs, which never entered any top100 (no matter if cbs or ifm)... Still a lot of "overdosed" classics, sure. Maybe it seems that, especially a lot of classics & italos, already have been in the top100, although, they were not... For example Kid Frost, Jimy K, Phaeax, Suburban Prototype, Supermax, Daniela Poggi, Sturmvogel, some Kraftwerks, some Drexciyan & Juan Atkins Classics had never been in there, but overheard like the rest...

Maybe 2013 (or even 2011-2013) didn't offered us that much really good new stuff or even new discoveries...
The only "real" new stuff, which also was kinda "big" is Kid Machine and Cliff Lothar. But even with those I'm not sure if they wont be forgotten in a couple of years (like the "Das Drehmoment"-stuff or "ERP" which both had been high in cbs top100 2007 - who cares about them today?)

And if so much robots are not smart enough, have not enough good taste or just forgot to rate tracks like the following, then you're not allowed to complain about the top100 we've had now... tongue tongue tongue (well, some tracks may not be in the database, but anyways...)

Eleven Pond - Watching Trees
Invisible Rockers Crew - Electro Empire (!!!!!!)
Dynamix II - Bass Generator
Trisomie 21 - The Last Song
Lebanon Hanover - Saddast Smile, Kunst, Northern Lights, Gallowdance, Sand...
DJ Overdose - Bizarro World
The Intergalactic Orchestra - Endless Journey, Star Probe Navigator
L.A.S.'s Crime - Incommunication
Black Merlin – Gorepheus
Lolo - Olimpiadi
Mick Wills - Espace (J.Fajerman)
O.R.S. (Orlando Rivas Sound) - Dream Machine
Tyrell Corporation - Together Alone
The Actor - Seit wir uns kennen
John Heckle - Inside me
Electronic System - Sailing to an unknown planet
Kirlian Camera - Eclipse
Bonjour Tristesse - Partner in crime
End of you garden - Don't walk away in silence
Eiskalte Engel - Kinder aus Asbest
Dmarc Cantu - A new night, Shoot the fish, Evil Motion, Say and it's time
Alessandro Parisi - Draconia Album

But nevertheless, I also was a bit dissapointed. Maybe my expectations had been to high (great expectations are always inappropriate in life wink).
To be honest, I-F's screaming, due to his party fun, also annoyed me a bit a the end. His voice had been too loud compared with the music, anyways. Moreover the sound was a bit to thin or slack(?) to my ears... (the phat sound of the cbs top100 2004 is unequalled, in my opinion)

Of course I'm still a happy robot, as I had to be allowed to hear another top100 after three years!! big_smile wink

Kraftwerks achso graue Autobahn, Drexciyas achso blaue Aquabahn...

Re: IFM Top 100 - 2013...your votes

I want a top 100 with all new tracks, nothing from any of the CBS or IFM top 100s.

Probably still be full of junk italo, though  tongue

Re: IFM Top 100 - 2013...your votes

OK stop complaining 'bout the past and change the topic to: R4R lobbying for the future

most of the tracks from the first pages still could need some votes so continuing here some fresh of mine extra:

I thought NEW RELEASED-tracks (not older than two years). Than it's less, right? Too lazy to check also...
