Re: What movies/tv shows are you robots watching?!
MANASYt: I know this is a big thing, in Sweden as well as abroad, but I'll never understand what's so amazing about it
I liked the Pusher trilogy, and that's about it.

Not really a big thing abroad...
Well, I like thrillers...The cases / stories are interesting, there's tension, the acting is great, some humor thrown into it as well and an episode usually last less than an hour...
1000 times better than any US series or remakes.
Not really a big thing abroad...
Well, big enough apparently. Karagarga even had "nordic noir" as a special for a month last year
I usually find the acting painfully pretentious and the dialogue rigid, but maybe that gets lost in translation.
Final episodes of breaking bad. It's just plot twist after plot twist. Ugh, us humans are so easy to entertain.
Outpost: The Black Sun. everything was so right about this film but they had to screw it up with a substandard script.
Catching on 4OD. Brill. That mad cunt from Kill List, and a Bobby O' lookalike in Ep1.
Just started into this, really entertaining!
Bobby O'? Meant Tony Caso..dead ringer.
Watching from inception again..best/funniest series made:
Yeah I liked it too. But... That fucking twee fucking Uke fucking shit fucking Radiohead fucking song was TOTAL BULLSHIT.
(I didn't like the over use of that, I know they wanted a theme, but jesus, come the fuck on, twee versions of popular songs is one of the worst things we have, and we're supposed to be civilized.)
But yeah I thought the movie was really good aside from that. (I will never ever watch it again though because of that thing though)
(Stuff in Brackets)
1. Cold Eyes - Basic action entertainer non-sense. No depth to the writing, characters, or anything.
2. Big Bad Wolves - A fair movie here but just didn't take anything to a "good" level. Some funny bits here, some dark bits here but didn't expand on them. OK in my eyes but wouldn't watch again.
3. Shadows in Paradise - I enjoyed this one. I really loved the atmosphere the film had. Characters aren't overly quirky and fun-loving as most rom-com-drams of this day and age. Has a great soundtrack and appearance of some 12" throughout the movie. Ended on an odd moment but I learned soon after that this is part of a trilogy.. so I will be watching the next two soon. Not AMAZING in my opinion but good overall.
4. 30 for 30 ESPN Soccer Stories - Hillsborough - As a US citizen I don't follow "soccer" much aside from the World Cups... I had no knowledge of this Hillsborough event before watching and wow... Let's just say I was quite shocked. The documentary was done really well. A must see I think for sports fans or history fans in general. Won't say much more for those who don't know anything about it.
5. 30 for 30 ESPN Slaying the Badger - Don't know much bout soccer and also don't know much about the sport of biking but this doc sure had me enlightened. There are some real badass riders here and then of course there are just the riders that are "bad". Interesting sport and this showcases the 80s period right before the steroids with some of the best bikers the world has seen.
Watched the first four episodes of The Strain. And yes, it was quite a strain ...
I took a day off yesterday (and by day off I mean I finished two tracks and then watched movies and ate meat)
HACKERS
Still awful.
FULL METAL JACKET
Still great.
TROLL HUNTER
Made me sad for the trolls.
DON'T GO IN THE HOUSE
Surprisingly well paced for a trash/sleazefest... and grim.
The Killing (US version). I couldn't get past the first 10mins of the first episode, too many cliches already by that time.
HACKERS
Still awful.
Lol, they should do a remake, one that is even worse...
T2 on a outdoor screen with thx sound... this one actually gets better over time
La dolce vita
Couldn't get over the constant sexism. The first couple of times i was like yeah it was the 60's LOL but fellini just keeps going on and on. Wasn't there any other female roles back then except the whore or the nun?
Locke.
schlock.
