Topic: MIDI issue

Hey, want to use my MPC1000 to trigger microKorg, where the micro then relays notes to my 106. This is mainly for the arps via micro. 1000 triggers the micro no problem but doesn't relay notes to 106. Hmmmmmm help.

if i remember correctly, you would have to play the chord on the micro if you want the arp to play on the 106. i don't think you can convert incoming midi notes to output arp notes. only chords played on the micro can be output as arp notes. i seem to remember encountering that situation some years ago.

Thanks, yeah, 106 too far removed I guess. Well the 1000 (JJOSXL2) has arpeggio functions now.
