Topic: Industrial

Been listening to the charming sunny sounds of Genocide Organ this morning. Anyone else like a bit of brutal aggression ?  cool

Re: Industrial

I'm not sure what industrial even means anymore. when I was a teenager it meant Ministry and Nine Inch Nails. When I was in my 20s (therefore older and wiser or something) i realised it meant Throbbing Gristle and SPK.

Let's listen to SPK. I fucking love SPK

Re: Industrial

i'm not that much into "modern" PE/industrial with a few exceptions (and GO is among them as well as Anenzephalia which i like even more)... maybe thorofon and i-c-k too

and of course survival unit, the world's most famous PE group, man i can watch this over and over again

Those guys are fucking imbeciles of the highest order. Live explosives (no pyro!) at gigs is insane:

Re: Industrial

I like the Blackhouse and was turned onto the Esplendor Geometrico by a crazy Basque friend.

I unerstand what your saying Deutchmark about the new sounds especially when you have so many raw recordings and great tapes. I just wish I could see more live shows, there arent many in the UK but the small ones are usually good.

Re: Industrial

From my childhood I still love Kiem. Dutch group combining industrial sound with sailorsongs in Clear It Up in this great clip (note the all industrial drumkit from Cees "Ijzermans" (Ironman) Meurs)

Also check their: Short Memories, The Moneyman, It's Working etc.

And this one is new to me but also pretyy good:

"Are you loving?"

Re: Industrial
