i'm just saying calling the Prophet 'crap' seems a bit overstated, that's all.
Even if you don't like the character the dco's .
It's still a massive roomshaking analogue with a sweet analogue filter,
with a bonus of sporting a ton of routingpossibillities... that still help shape the sound in the end.
It pretty much has all the features you always wanted your favourite synth ( set of oscillators + filter..) to have !
Imagine those features on that (very nice btw ) SH-7 or on a MiniMoog..
But of course nobody can argue with ones taste.
If one prefers a NordLead over a Prophet 08, who can argue with that ?
Personally i think in both bass and metallic sound departement the Prophet simply blows the Nord away.
With the LFO going up to ocillator speed ( or how do you call that ) you can get pretty metallic !
I'll be surprised if you'll never hear that one patch from an '08 that will make your eyebrows go up a notch, automa
