Topic: Buying digital music

I wanna buy more digital music instead of vinyl as it seems more convenient for me nowadays.
However, buying my current vinyl collection track by track in digital format seems like a waste of money.
Does anyone know if there are ways to buy digital tracks in bulk? And what are good shops for digital music?

Re: Buying digital music

Not sure about bulk but bandcamp is my usual go to as the most direct route to smaller, niche artist or whatever.

Picked up this, still listening to it as it's a great way to check stuff I might have over looked.

Also https://boomkat.com, Juno the usual.

Definitely not beatport the robbing bastards, or you could just do what everyone else does and torrent that shit tongue

Cool I'm gonna check those out. Thanks.

Re: Buying digital music

Actually come to think of it Bandcamp is perfect for bulk buying as plenty of labels do large discounts for purchasing the full catalogue. Pinkman records for example 50% off currently and many offer even further discounts on that from time to time. Its a great platform, and of course you can follow other users which can lead you to a wormhole of new discoveries etc

Gimme a shout if you'd like the FLAC/mp3 of the Bleep100 comp, ill hit you up  wink

Should i sound unsupportive for the artist and ask, why not Soulseek? There was a big debate about this digital purchases...if you buy vinyl or even cd...most likely you'll have some chances to resell/trade those, but what about mp3's/flacs? Im not so sure...

This is quite good,  various lists of Bandcamp things to buy from different folks, like Ron Morelli (L.I.E.S)etc

Used to checkout bleep.com as well. I still find bandcamp has the best UI as well labels/artists seem to choose it since it takes the lowest share from them.
