Another great one, too bad Giske's music hasn't been released on cd so far, would def buy if it was.

My oldest daughter, who becomes three years old coming december, requests Metallica's Kill 'Em All on a daily basis. Could be a lot worse.
Hehe That is true, that is true... You could be forced to listen to some smurf hits on repeat instead https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Of0wLdGM7s. God parenting and musical genes perhaps?
I still have that on cassette, probably the only one I have left from childhood. My nephew is also 3, he likes Todd Terje, one of my few successful musical influences so far. I'm not even that big a fan, but I figured it was pretty accessible to his mostly non-robot family. He did ask me to put on Kraftwerk last summer, but I think it was just cuz he knows I like them. He mostly just looked at me weird while I danced around counting in German to him. I'm not sure his parents would appreciate me playing him thrash metal though, he has enough energy as it is.
This is a nice one from Aleksi Perälä that I picked up in a recent haul.

SLOW TO SPEAK
Mm,..seem to have lost this post.
Anyway, I remember buying a load of these mixes on CD'r from Dopejams records back in the early 00's(many still not on here)
These are the real deal, from classic label retrospectives from Strictly Rhythm, Nervous, Guidance, Prescription...to 90' soul & Rn'B, Hip hop, and gospel.
Highly recommended.
Yeah those mixes were nice and introduced me to quite a few cool (deep) house tracks.. Cool you have them on CD-r! Too bad the Slow To Speak dudes were complete assholes when they were writing about music. Or maybe it was some New York humor that was completely lost on me.
Anyhooo

Really good album by Joy Orbison!
Bummed that Nala Sinephro hasn't been released on cd. Hope Warp changes their mind about that one.
Here, now, in a slightly similar vein:

The guy behind the Moog was my downstairs neighbor when I was living in Amsterdam. I knew his music from IFM and Mick Wills mixes I think before I knew it was him, so funny. I told him there was actually a lot of interest in this kind of music again and he was very surprised.. A few years later they got rereleased on Domestica and all. Very nice guy btw, became a teacher and bookseller and was throwing David Bowie theme parties in his apartment.
