don't do it, don't do it. it's the cheapest of the cheapest. what do you think you'll achieve with that? it's bullshit. and it always sounds so depressing. like "with his skills he puts the dancefloor on fire" or similar crap. please don't. just find a better, more honest, down to heart, no bullshit, way to introduce yourself.

I cannot stand those djs website, always the same, with bio buttons, mp3 buttons, pics buttons, whatever buttons

so sad, internet is sad, dj culture is sad, the whole fuking thing is a sorry program

well, welcome to the real world with all its abysses.
even if you just want to achieve something like a voice to e.g. support cultural-historical pearls there's hardly any alternative to playing the game.

Re: let me see your artist bio

sorry to be rude C.

but fuck the game, fuck wanna be a star, it all seems to me a 24/7 Fame application, and instead of wanted to be a singer, dancer, whatever, people replaced it with their own life. there is too much of people should know me. why, and what for? nothing else matter, just how many band friends you have on mypsace.

Re: let me see your artist bio

i sorted myspace out, so i should be famous shortly

Re: let me see your artist bio

fuck fame. money, a$$ and a steady supply of your favourite substances is what counts. incidentally the first one buys you the rest.

Re: let me see your artist bio

very nice...but why do you need a bio? you have a beautiful beard

Re: let me see your artist bio

hey ratsnake, thanks - I don't "need" a bio, I just wrote one for my website.  I thought it would help establish/relay some feelings I have about why I do what I do (done what I done) through the years.  where my motivations come from... and perhaps to explicitly impart that it's not so much a case of wanting to EXPOSE me as it is to EXPOSE the music I enjoy.

...as for the beard, thanx it's getting whiter by the day... wink

Re: let me see your artist bio

These are some words about me from myspace
http://www.myspace.com/gregpunkov

About Greg Punkov

Through his work Ensar Zgodic has been involved in radio projects for more then 10 years (radios such as ISV Radio, Radio ZID, Radio 202 and BH Radio 1), mostly in creating radio shows promoting new, underground and exciting music. He started creating music just for fun 7 years ago, expressing in this way his memories and creating a new life for Yugoslavia socialist TV music aesthetics. In the beginning he has been doing this in his head only, and it lead him to the foundation of an obscure-sound Yurockolonia project. His first release ever was issued in cooperation with his friend Deno Zivkovic, with whom he shares passion for old-school dance and electro. From this time on, Ensar started creating music as Greg Pavlov, alias who inspired him to go forward with strong desire to bring some retro yet fresh, synth-flavoured electro with some Italo-influenced touch and smooth dance floor beats. After a while, Greg Pavlov found his brothers (Iumatico, Videosignal) who confirmed Greg's SCH as a usual producer's disease. Finally Greg Pavlov became Greg Punkov, which still does not bring us to the end of his story. He has been publishing for netlabel Oscilator. Greg is a co-founder of Oscilator, together with his best friend Andrej Imamovic, and they play at gigs as DJs as well. During these years Ensar has played on EXIT Elektrana Stage 2006 and 2008. in Novi Sad, also in Zagreb,  Belgrade, as well as in Sarajevo clubs with Sneak Thief, Xed, YAS, Zarkoff, MKDSL, Tristy Nesh and local upcoming producers and DJs. Ensar has organised and co-organised some gigs featuring Manasyt, Miss Housewife and others. His track Soda So Prompteleks is appear on a Berlin-based Drehmoment label compilation "010 va. R

Re: let me see your artist bio

avoid using generalized opinions in your bio. always state it clearly as your own opinion if you are going to use any opinions/judgments in there; neutral descriptive words are better. keep it short if possible. don't be wordy. keep it to a few sentences if it is somewhere people aren't specifically seeking it out. don't assume anyone cares, assume they barely do if at all. too much obvious effort on your bio suggests your shit doesn't speak for itself.

if anybody cares enough to warrant writing a full-on bio, you probably won't be the one writing it.

I agree, but you have to play the game a little bit to get anywhere (or not?)
