Don't you think it is? I think it could well be Ron Hardy.

yes it could be (but then Bill Hardy would be jumpin up&down to get them, as he made it clear in the last few years
he "owns" the name). but then again it must be a US pressing looking at it's price, so maybe he's in on it.
anyhow there are alot of people who can do his style very succesfuly, if you listened to the last Jamie326 thing
you could not realy tell, could you?  so gut feeling I don't think so, but who knows?
still not bad regardles to who made this, had this&privet entertainment thing in the basket and both sold out in 3
days,,, wink

Re: Jackmaster Hater

This was never released on vinyl...bootlegged by a guy in Chicago.  I'm gonna ask him the story behind this one, but I think I remember him mentioning it was a Farley edit of Ron's material.  Don't take my word for it though.   (I think a few people here aren't so happy about this  one being released smile )

Re: Jackmaster Hater

I'm with you there....I'm sure they would prefer it kept a secret...

Re: Jackmaster Hater

"Your Mind"  was done by Larry Heard and Robert Owens and edited by Farley...Robert Owens is the one saying "Your mind, your mind, your mind" on the track. Hardy played it.

"We'll burn off our last round against the cops, and if they don't care to come, we'll certainly know how to find them."

Re: Jackmaster Hater

yeah that's what i heard, that it was a Larry Heard track....i believe Saturn V did an interpretation of this track a year or two ago on Creme Jak.

My guess is that Kstarke did this bootleg...but maybe not.

Re: Jackmaster Hater

People always think that he's doing these bootlegs....Don't know who's putting that idea into people's heads.  Although he did have some for sale, but they were gone in a flash.

Re: Jackmaster Hater

@ Walsh
"Robert Owens is the one saying ..."
-> you're mine, you're mine, you're mine... no?

Re: Jackmaster Hater

Hmm....the song's called "Your Mind"

"We'll burn off our last round against the cops, and if they don't care to come, we'll certainly know how to find them."

Re: Jackmaster Hater

i don't think anyone was putting it into anyone's head that Kstarke did it.
i said that was my guess, as he has access to alot of unreleased chicago stuff.
i heard a cd of all unreleased Ron Hardy edits in his store about three years ago.

And if no one is going to reveal the identity of who did it then it's free game to take gueeses as to who did it especially if you're saying they are from Chicago.

Re: Jackmaster Hater

Oh, I didn't mean to sound upset or anything...it's all good!  Hell, he might have in fact done it .  sorry if I came across another way my friend...
