Well,
they have those Dyva releases, out recently from old tapes according to them, so why do they sell it so expensive (100 Euros for Clap Again). Does anybody here own this record and did he pay that price...?
Or maybe someone has a begining of justification fortheir crazy price (do they manage to sell some records...?)

maybe they press in batches of 10. for as long as anybody is ordering or pressing plants still exist.
I have a begining of explanation by label's boss:
"Hi Paul!
No problem for asking. As i wrote you on the earlier mail, two first
Dyva 12" are special things. They are Flashback releases, but they don't
belong to the official Flashback catalogue. The catalogue starts with
"FLA 5008 Marc Fruttero - I Wanna Live With You". If somebody is asking
for available Flashback releases, i don't mention the two first Dyvas.
The reason for this is the promises i have made in the past, when these
two records were released. They are private pressings, not official,
made before Flashback Records became an official company. These two
records were financed by the group of my friends and me. They all paid
100e for this record and this way it was possible to release it. At that
time we made agreement that i won't sell this record cheaper to anybody
and i have kept my promise. If all those guys would tell me that "feel
free to sell the rest of the copies for what money you want", i could
sell them for 30-40e/copy which is the normal price for the Flashback
vinyls, but i'm not going to do that without their permission.
However, you can find CLAP AGAIN (ext. vers.) also on Dyva cd album and
it's only 17.50e.

About the policy. Has it got to do with paying the artist maybe, else they don't approve or something? It's also a safer bet to press less quantities and sell at a higher price per piece.
It comes over to me as bit of a (italo)elite-thing to do. Then again, most of the rare italorecords sell for even more than 40
I think most stuff i heard from this label isnt too great anyways...i would never pay that price. Another option is to make some bootlegs 
apart the two Dyva ("on fire" and "clap again"), I find nothing interesting on that label.
The problem with the Dyva CD is that clap again is in "extened version", but the "demo version" is waaaay better

Flashback Records want to "create" their own rare records or else the real italocollector would not be interested.

Apparently there were some "bad" pressings of this Felli record that were meant to be destroyed and never sold, but I guess the truck got lost on the way to the rubbish dump and took a little detour via ebay 
Anyway, this price is much more agreeable to me.

I wondered why it only is the Felli-record that's cheaper and this could be the reason. Never thought of that! I bought one but don't hear (or see) anything wrong with it. Shall have another check soon.

A big shame, because some of those tracks are killer and only a handful of people get to hear them. Wonder how the artists feel about this...
From the very beginning I had serious problems with their pricing policy. Although for several years I know the founder who was a good Italo boy in the old days, I cannot follow his "policies", which are ridiculous to me and nothing but rip-off.
There happened some affairs in the past around that label, but what I recently experienced, only reinforced my serious doubts.
This last summer I sat on our terrace and listened to the snippets of all FLASHBACK releases. I was in a good mood and thought, hey, some records are excellent, but the price... After some more thoughts I decided to buy 4 records I liked most. I asked some friends if they would switch off their reluctance they also have because of the price policy and they did. So we had 7 or 8 records in total to order. You won't believe, but the prices of the records did not drop with that total amount. It seemed that they did rise in comparison to a former inquiry of a friend, who asked for less number of records than we wanted to buy.
So, this was my last try with that label. I doubt the artists know FLASHBACK's policy, because they could not be happy with it.
Anyway, it's everybody's choice, so ...
