Haha with a flick of a switch you can go from disco/house to drum and bass/breaks. How handy for wedding sets.
Weird, seems like some kind of official Korg stand in that movie? Its also more rectangular then the normal Microkorg
The "genres" are different too, in the original Microkorg there is no Jazz Fusion stuff and sub catagories...
and there's less knobs and LCD screen etc.etc.etc. must be a totally different machine
It looks really cool though...
Yeah it seems to be from some kind of trade show.
Those keys look like actual piano keys, even though they're still tiny. I wonder if they're semi-weighted or something. That would be a pretty weird thing to do to a tiny keyboard.
Edit: I posted the same video as Victor Robots. Duh.

'natural touch' keyboard !?
the big knobs look cool, but maybe not enough for editing with.
quite interesting though, i've always got a soft spot for synths that run on batteries
wtf is this http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=Q43gVUwfd … re=channel
Its KORG BOY
Looks like portability is the only thing preventing him from becoming a Hikikomori
That Microkorg XL seems interesting, looks like editing will be easier than on the Microkorg, no? From the looks of it the 'full edit' function will give you the most parameter control, like on those mid 80's synths where you had to access parameters with a 2 digit number and then use a slider to edit the parameter value.

mmmmm poly 61 ftw!
And a pc editor for "Deep editing"..
I dunno. Where the arp buttons at? In deep edit mode?
The whole "cheap" retro styling is a little offensive.. And that lip on the base of the synth is going to get chipped real easy.

Don't know about you lot, but the vocoder sounds cool...
The styling is weird - looks like a bastardised Rhodes or Wurlitzer, but I can live with that.
Any ideas on a fixed date for release ?
