Yes, 'jemig de pemig' or just 'jemig' (because as said before, 'de pemig' is also merely a rhyming addition) is used mostly to express wonderment, but you can also use it to express annoyance or fright. I think it's derived from 'jeetje' which itself probably comes from saying 'jezus'. Jemig is a bit of an oldschool word I think, but because of that it also has a certain non offensive Donald Duck cursing charm. Like 'potvolblommen' or 'potverdorrie' instead of godverdomme
