Topic: Midi to Cv for Sh-09

I need it cheap, could you recommend me some site where i can buy it? Thanks..

Re: Midi to Cv for Sh-09

i'm using Little MCV from Philip Rees works fine.
no need of soldering

Re: Midi to Cv for Sh-09

Get an external box, the Little MCV is good I had that one, the Din-sync.com devices are ok and cheap, but service is so-so.  Doepfer make some single channel ones that are ok too, look on eBay, prices are usually around 100-120$.

Don't get the synhouse thing, it's more costly and there's really no need to hack a vintage synth for this.

Re: Midi to Cv for Sh-09

Little MCV sucks, I have it. If you play fast notes it kind of lags, or that's how I remember it ... It's not very tight so to speak. Avoid!

Re: Midi to Cv for Sh-09

could be right, It's been a long time.

Re: Midi to Cv for Sh-09

Dtronics are good, you can even get a usb to cv one.

Re: Midi to Cv for Sh-09

right! Dtronics products seem cool.
That's probably what I'd do if needed only 1 channel

Re: Midi to Cv for Sh-09

just be aware that the sh-09 needs 10V to be triggered, and a lot of standard midi-cv converters only do 5V.. so make sure it does 10 before you buy it..

Re: Midi to Cv for Sh-09

Ok, so i will probably go for Din-Sync Mdcv1 as Dtronics signal is too weak to trigger sh-09. Thanks
