Re: RobotDJ Mix Radio Service

I just updated the streamsources.plist file for my Robotplayer and I'm hearing RobotDJ AND roRbot FM loud and clear. And I can even switch between the two without any interruptions. Truly like switching channels like a real radio! big_smile

Thanks Maurits and roR!

Do it your way, because everyone else is just weird.

Stan, I'm on a Mac, Robotplayer is only for Mac: http://www.cbs.nu/forum/viewtopic.php?id=18627&p=1

If you are as well then dowload the player and follow the instructions that roR gave earlier in this topic:

Bas roR wrote:

i hope Maurits is ok with me posting this, but you can tweek your RobotPlayer easily.

1. go inside your robotplayer/contents/resources and open 'streamsources.plist' in a text editoR.

2. add this to it above the first <dict>

<dict>
        <key>demuxer</key>
        <string>audio</string>
        <key>text</key>
        <string>RobotDJ.net</string>
        <key>url</key>
    <string>http://209.9.238.150:8000/R4R</string>
    </dict>

2b. and if you want roRbot FM in there too, also add:

<dict>
        <key>demuxer</key>
        <string>audio</string>
        <key>text</key>
        <string>roRbot FM</string>
        <key>url</key>
        <string>http://77.250.148.210:8000/listen</string>
    </dict>

select streams in the preferences. (but you knew that) wink

Do it your way, because everyone else is just weird.

right click on your robotplyer and choose "Show Package Content", you will enter it like it's a folder.

Thanks, dancing robot ftw. I deleted the robot player a few days ago, but now it's in my dock again.
