Mashups

Mashups (a.k.a. bastard pop/blends) - some hate them, some love them

As with plain tracks, most of them are not very good but when I hear a very good mashup I can't resist liking it.
I guess I have a weakness for tracks being really good mixed together.

Also:
As in a very good mix, a rather boring track or an originally great but perhaps a bit worn out track can find new life when well mixed together with something else.

Some mashups might be a bit vulgar but can still be attractive somehow just because the tracks blends so well (or perhaps not really well but interesting)

Let me start with this I found rather recently:

Some guy called Matt Pop has specialized in mashups and have loads of them on youtube.
My personal favourite is his mix of Depeche Modes "Nodisco" together with Pet Shop Boys "Minimal"
