Topic: problem transposing chords--RS7000 to MS2000

I am using an RS7000 to sequence an MS2000, and I'm wanting to use the RS' transpose function to change the key of the MS sequence, but it doesn't affect the sequence at all. It works on other synths, why doesn't the transpose function work with the MS? Is it a global setting on the MS?

Are the other synths that work recieving data from the same RS track? I know you can turn the transpose on and off on every track on the RS.

tried copying part to an RS track that the transpose function had worked on with another synth, to no avail. any more ideas? fuck, why don't i just call you?
