Hello fellow Robots

Today this forum is pretty much dead. at least the the General Hardware section. So far I think there have not been 20 posts this year.

I was watching (and still am) watching all the shows of the Intergalactic FM Streaming Festival.
I saw shows of Computerdisco, Mule Driver, Mark du Mosch, Baz Reznik, Smackos, BMX to name a few.
I enjoyed a lot seeing you guy play with your machines. The ones you talked about here so much. I followed your discussions and learned so much about synthesizers.

so where did you move to. Do you know already everything about your gear? Do you learn all from the dedicated youtube channels or did you move to other forums? At least I know now, that you still twist the knobs and make music.

So I do not know, whether you still read this. Want you to know. I enjoyed to exchange nerdy details with you, I kinda miss the exchange with you Robots.

Tape Cassette Player/Recorder Recommendations

I seem to find meself with tapes. Not heaps but a few here and a few there.

I'm looking for recommendations of a walkman style set up I can hook up straight into my mixer. I'd like the player to both play and record and have a USB input and output so I could convert to MP3 and record straight from a soundcard via the laptop. I've seen a lot with an output but not come across one with an input. I know I could get a double tape deck set up but don't really wanna give the space to it. I'd happily have something smaller in all fairness.

Hope that makes sense and thanks for any help.

Sort of. Drum-ish machine, as I like to call it. And it’s a weird one. It has 3 voices: drum, bass line and cymbal, though they all have their own Kant-related names, as do the rest of parts on this machine. It also has a resonant filter which can effectively be treated as a fourth voice."
