Re: discogs votes: ask here

^ voted on a bunch of them...

If someone could vote on this stuff on my friend's label that would be appreciated:

Re: discogs votes: ask here

i know discogs subbing can be a bitch sometimes. the thing with ANVs is that discogs would be just a non interlinked list of releases. ANVs make it possible to really dig deep into what releases an artist was involved in and what names/aliases he/she used. gives you a more complete picture.

Re: discogs votes: ask here

Can someone tell Me what is the best thing to do when You order a record trough discogs, but after 2 weeks You still didnt get any reply from the seller?

This isnt the first time this happens, sometimes they dont reply at all.
Do they want to sell the damn thing or not..!?

Re: discogs votes: ask here

^^ I think it work just the same as any other internetshop. You make an order and after a period of time (not longer than a few days) you should get a reaction (email) from the seller confirming your order etc. If you have no respons you could try again to personally mail him. Still no response? Wait, maybe he/she is on holiday/sick whatever. Still nothing, go find another seller. The usual procedure basicly. I'd say, wait a month and after that you could think about giving him a (negative) feedback about this so you warn other potential buyers.

Luckily this hasn't happened to me (knock on wood) on discogs once. It helps ofcourse to check the feedback of the seller (basic stuff). I had one simular experience (nonresponsive seller) on e-bay though and gave negative feedback after that.

had that twice in one week
seller doesn't reply but he added records to his sale list, so must have seen it
i hate that, if you don't have the record anymore, or having second thought about selling it
then be a man and reply

seller = sharon_needles btw

the other one became a father and told me later..

keep on contacting them and after max. 4 weeks report them here.

Re: discogs votes: ask here

i must say i'm not a good seller at the moment. i plan to organize everything better when i find me a proper house.

but i also experience the other way round: people ordering stuff and never reacting to my reaction. ah well...

Re: discogs votes: ask here

it's the internet, folks. just like when driving on the road you have to assume for your own safety that everybody else is either a thug, a retard or wants to sell you viagra.

Re: discogs votes: ask here

haha those are some wise words JamesTRubotnik smile

I can understand that people dont have their internet connection attached to their Arses, but if You want to sell records You should check Your mail once every two weeks..
But since I cant know what is going on in a persons life on the other side of the world I will give the man two more weeks before Ill order it somewhere else.

After two months I will give Him a bad feedback

Re: discogs votes: ask here

though i have to add that for people on the this board and in other small and esoteric forums there's always the benefit of the doubt. this is generally a nice neighborhood.

the stamp is almost at the same spot. at first u think its the same but its not and mine also misses a part ot the stamp like the ink was finished. do these bootleggers use original stamps maybe or am I just lucky after all and bought original copy?

I'm afraid stentec to tell you, you have a bootleg too. And now I know I have a bootleg one too, scheisse. Cos your description is exactly the same siae stamp of mine, almost same position but lower, and a part of it is missing like the ink was too low. There you go.

I'm 99% sure that the man behind this is Luigi Figini.

edit: it's not that easy to get hold of a siae stamp.

Re: discogs votes: ask here

Voted on a bunch of JamesT's and on jacderida's wink

back with more submissions. all votes will be appreciated:

* remixes of amnesie / turas
* c'zar on match music
* kelly brown
* state of grace 7"

and a bunch edits which i won't list here, mostly fixing the mess that discogs has become since v4 was shoved down our throats.

thanks!

hehe rune is already selling it for 100E, will vote the others later.

btw discogs = amazon.com now, thanks to the unwanted (and ugly) feature "Recommendations" hmm

Re: discogs votes: ask here

just realized! i will have to start developing a firefox plugin to remove all the unwanted discogs "features" if this continues like that...

as for rune selling it that high... he put it in there a day or two after i made the original submission. guess he's trying to set the price. it's a nice release, but come on, it can't be that rare.

Re: discogs votes: ask here

and once again many thanks, hysteric! greatly appreciated. haveing a look at your pending subs as we speak.
