picked up an old DOD flanger. sounds amazing. smooth rich chorus to slow sweeping flange to crazy spacey sounds. ours looks way more beat up than this and had a sticker with "kick ass" written on it.

worship the potentiometer.

well got the nord modular today and sold my mks7 (with voice problems) for the same price as i bought it

technosaurus microcon II just arrived. looks cool, it's small, which is one of the things that got me into buying one, and tonight i'll hear the sound, which is the main reason i got it

These Sony mixers are a pretty good value, I just sold my Soundcraft Rac Pac for more than the Sony cost me, while the Soundcraft had better routing, the quality of sound of the Sony is in a different league.
They have a few quirks like no direct outs on channels, and rca on unbalanced line ins but the quality is the best I've tried in my limited experience with mixers.

Yeah the aux sends are weird on some models RCA to.
Does this one got balanced xlr inputs?
RCA is btw not superbad in a home setup with short cables.
Eq's are on some a little limited to but in general pretty good and lovely preamps.

got a Yamaha mx200-12 mixer (finally) for $250 from a local gear pusher. Balanced xlr ins and preamp on every channel - nice, quite unlike budget 10-12 channel mixers produced nowadays. Seems to sound nice, definitely does have some sound coloring, and so far I am liking it.

@ Mono, yes it does have balanced xlr inputs. rca isn't so bad you're right, my main issue is that you have to get the right cables for it.

NI Maschine second hand. We will see if those bugs get me. If they do can always resell. I think its going to be an awesome replacement for ableton. Still have v7 of that but im just not impressed with v8 to justify, they have not really been heading in the direction I like and price for upgrade is too high. Plan to use standalone mode for maschine and then export final product to ableton. Goodbye mouse! .

Oh also got traktor pro upgrade for my birthday.
