well, it seems I'm unstoppable.... I think I need someone to change the password on my ebay account and look after my bank cards for me for a while.
:-)
lexicon LXP-15.
I've sort of wanted one for a few years, and one was for auction just up the road from me for a good price... put in a low bid and actually won it... heh. at least this buy was only AU$170
on picking it up, this thing is in absolutely amazing condition. totally mint. (though the LCD contrast range seems offset a bit high or something... can be set so it's workable for me but will look into that sometime) I've got it in my rack now, and I'm really loving it. Nice old-digital sound all through it, and the mod patching on this thing is great - lots of fun sources and destinations and unlike newer lexi units with fun modulations, it's so simple to setup.
Does it still works tony?
I tested it quickly but everything seems to be in order and the seller is more than trustworthy.
I know many of them have issues and are hard to repair, but I love that grainy transposed sound, it's great on (Linn)drums.
I had an HM-80 which is somewhat similar and always regretted selling it.
Ok cool i think it even got cv control on the back.
If i remember right.
It does, I'm not sure how it's scaled but you can control the pitch with it.
It'd be nice if it was 1v/oct, so it would act like the optional keyboard ( I don't have it, unfortunately)
check this video with the keyboard :

Not really "cool" but since I lost my Ipod yesterday and won't survive work without it:
http://www.transcendstore.com/ts8gmp330.html
Only 1/3 of the price of an ipod (which I can't afford right now) and more important: recording capability
whell i have worked with few
and i have seen few nonworking
also friends 910H is in service right now
PROBLEMS : dead ICS, crackling in sound, BIG noise, random errors, overheating, sometimes work sometimes not!!!
WHY... dry capacitors
that si 99% problem with old fx boxes.. IF you want it to work for a long run
recap it... other way that box is cca 30years old and dry capacitors will kill it!!!!
I love sound of 910H//// recap it and have it forever!!!
