the crumar ds-2 from herr roginator has finally arrived..
it came in bits and pieces (italian construction on the inside= if you move it around, the circuit boards fall our of their slots), it drifts a bit, but damn what a sound.. and freaky modulation!

I guess its casio day... I just picked up a FZ-1. The keys are failling and the displaylight has died, but i only paid 30euro. Gonna check if the midi is ok tomorrow. Anyone got any experience with this thing??

Yeah apparently by buying one I am now entering a world of pain and frustration, entering notes via a calculator keypad with a tiny green LED screen to guide me. I've been told the timing is second to none though, and anything that gets me away from midi has to be a good thing! I'll post up some results over the weekend.
I was looking for an MC-4 users group but couldn't find one, maybe I might set one up. There's a few people over on the Analogue Heaven mailing list who were all talking about the MC-4 recently and that kind of prompted me to buy one just to check it out. I've got an SND Sam-16 too, should be fun getting them working together!

I am waiting for paypal to clear funds on my acount so i can put trough a huge malekko.wiard order.
Gonna builld a kickass system with it, had to sell the blue for it but i think i'm gonna enjoy my new one more.

I had one years ago and it can be frustrating to work with, but I still regret selling mine. Now that I'm older and more patient I'd love to have another go with one. Congrats!
That screen isn't all bad either...compared to the "screen" on the MC-202, the screen on the MC-4 is a glorious panoramic vista of information.

Yeah all my Malekko/Wiard came last week. Going to finish putting them in this weekend. Here's how the three cases stand right now. Bracketed stuff is reserved space. Might have to make some hard choices when the anti-envelope hits. Or start another case.
