I did a blind Ebay buy on that CITROEN MELODIE two weeks ago, I think there are a couple of good tracks on it and lots of weird stuff. "black magic women" is the one though, yes?

Great find. You were touring there or on a holiday or something? Finding a record localy can be a real advantage I also experienced. Still have to be at the right place and at the right time tough. Sometimes I wonder how many plaintickets I could have bought from all the money from my more expensive (italo)records (and their shippingcosts!) and buying the records in Italy instead of online...  hmm

I saw a copy go for 1 euro or something on ebay, is that the one?
Black magic woman is the best IMO, there are some more nice easy listening tracks as well.

Yep think I paid 1 euro. I'd seen it come up a couple of times before, so guess it isn't too rare.

This promo as a cheap way of getting to get the Louise Freeman-track. But also Crazy Gang ofcourse and those Halo Pilot and Harlow-tracks are nice.

edit: and later on yesterday:

Leda - Welcome To Joyland (Metronome): still not regretting the high price I paid for it which scares me also a bit...

Man.. really can't go wrong with that. Should buy another copy of Pomping World myself, got a bit worn out one a few years back.

bought the whole bunch without knowing any one of them. Till now, I bought all my Irdial stuff 'blind' (except for Pump the LED's..), and every single one of them has been a winner so far, without doubt.

Think I'll get me a few more of those today.

Today's arrival's:

Steve Poindexter - WTMF (Armando rmx) [muzique]
V/A - BIPPP: French Synth-Wave 1979/85 [born bad]
Aardvarck - Pigstyle [kindred spirits]
Fanon Flowers - Chicago-Detroit [studio sound]
E.R.P. - Evoked Potentials (Part Two) [semantica]

Jeff Mills - Waveform Transmission Vol.3 [tresor]

Well, that stuff certainly isn't for everyone. Neuropolitique and In Sync are pure Detroit-UK-drummachine techno bliss that's for sure. I played Aqua Regia's Phreak the other day and my girlfriend almost smashed the damn record. So there's some really bizarre, hard-to-get, freaky weirdness to be heard and better to be prepared for. But when you're open-minded enough to deal with Irdial, I think those blind buys pay off in the end smile

Just leave some of those for me as well big_smile

I realise now when putting all these songtitles in a row you can get a kind of story out of it...

You're the one, I'm looking for you. You can go away. Why can the bodies fly, over the sky?  big_smile

Re: your last purchases of records

Had a REAL nice deal in a private sale recently.

Each for less than 2 Euro:

Max-B-Sex-Revolution This was a bit of a gamble, bit of a dodgy cover (though the back is much better), but apparently it's rare as hen's teeth.
Pierre Henry - Mise En Musique Du Corticalart De Roger Lafosse Another gem it seems. Got two more on the famous Prospective 21e Siècle label, but not that rare.
Walter Christian Rothe - Solitude (Lark Records)
Logic System - Logic (EMI Music (Netherlands)). Classic!
Zodiac - Disco Alliance (Мелодия).
Baffo Banfi - Ma, Dolce Vita (Innovative Communication)
Peter Baumann - Trans Harmonic Nights (Virgin)
Kraftwerk-Doppelalbum
And some Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, Salsoul, Herbie Hancock,...

Honey, in the morning the bees are singing and the birds are stinging in an open head surgery.
