@narciso

Was there because of the Nullzeit-party last saturday and found it when sniffing around in their recordshop.
Funny thing is that some years ago when they had a recordshop at the other side of town  I found another Doraus-album: Blumen Und Narzissen.
I recon you found your copy cheap at Waterlooplein?

Thanks for the info!  I didn't know it was a also a shop. Still looking for the Blumen und Narzissen album. The record I found at Waterlooplein was pretty cheap indeed, just 1 euro. I bought it by a guy who has a antique shop at the Amstel by the way, he also sells records there.  I found some good stuff there for reasonable prices.

I know that Antique-shop and found some nice stuff there when I just discovered the shop. Lately I find not so much anymore... I wonder if he gets any "new" stuff. Didn't know he's also selling at Waterlooplein. 1euro is a bargain! Bought mine for 20euro... Op de markt is je euro 20euro waard. wink

Re: your last purchases of records

@Scarface
I don't think he gets new stuff very often, but you'll never know, so I keep checking the shop every know and then. Once he had a big collection of 70's  and early 80's disco that came from one dj collection. Only thing was that they had all stickers like on this one which I bought there:http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=1969664
I don't care too much about it though, the records were in good shape and where also priced between 3 and 5 euro. Maybe the stickers can be pulled off, but sometimes it only gets worse. So I decided to keep them on.

Re: your last purchases of records

Yes, I guess he buys collections and sells them through his shop. I guess we just have to wait until the next collection comes along. This reminds me of this joke... A man enters an antiqueshop and asks the owner: "And, anything new?" smile

There are various ways to remove stickers. I just read this yesterday. There might be some helpful tips for you. I mostly use a lighter. Some stickers are not easy to remove indeed and are better left on I also experienced.

I found ZYX picture sleeves are a bitch to get stickers off..
Maybe i'm getting old (or less obsessive) but stickers don't bother me as much anymore so i usually just leave them on rather than risk sleeve destruction trying to remove them.

edit: and for the topic I got some 7" in the mail:
Gloria - "Ping Pong Space"
Crackers - "Gas"
Plastiktanz - "Wir Sind Rein" (a guy from the band is selling some original copies on discogs)

Re: your last purchases of records

plastiktanz is nice! got my copy from kernkrach, it was 3 euros cheaper than the discogs one smile
btw, he still has some if anybody's interested

Re: your last purchases of records

^ great footage, I hadn't seen this before smile

Just arrived: Robody - "Dr. Youwzy", had to have this one after watching the video so much.
Still a mystery to me why the Italian pressing is so much more in demand than the Belgian, when it's clearly a Belgian production.

3,291

Re: your last purchases of records

Noticed you got the Portugese edition on discogs. Voted "correct".

That Robody is nice also. Reminiscent to Herbie Hancock's - Rockit. The pricedifference between the Belgium and Italian pressing is huge... Caused by collector/completist-madness perhaps?

And why the seller comments "original Italian pressing". Italian o.k. but original? This is obviously a Belgium production. Look at the french, belgium sounding names of the people who worked on this. I think it's just a case of trying to pull money out of the italo-collector's pocket.

haha yeah, but koenie from wally's world must know better, he's belgium
i think you're right, it's just trying to pull money out of the italo collectors pocket.. stakkers!!
they won't fool us, btw i think it's an overrated record anyway, but the video is really nice
