i guess i had a smilar occasion last fall. only that i left the big part there and only picked a few (~50) gems out of a former dj's 4000+ records collection which was so far untouched by anybody else. boy, that was hard work. the collection consisted of tons of 90s shit (neither obscure nor good stuff) and something of every dance/electronic genre in the 80s and 90s, hence also a bunch of italo, electro, acid house and whatnot. one day i will kick myselt for limiting myself to picking out almost only italo records.

but whatever. life goes on and i have better things to do than minutely check every goddamn record in a basement full of 'em.

keep the gems throw out the rest. don't think twice. life's too short.

damn right! it was just too much. maybe i'd taken the bulk if it were only 1000 reckies and less shit, but 4000+ with lots of junk is just too much of a hassle besides the missing time: i work 90% and try to get somewhere with djing, too. also, gf takes her share too - if not i wouldn't want one anyways.

Kinky Justice 10" Music And Lyrics

Cover versions basically, focussing on the vocal side. The version of New Day (Original by Round Two/Maurizio) is really great. Don't know the orginal, but this is touching stuff. Justus, you can do it.
