Re: your last purchases of records

Queen, that cover of Electronic Ensemble looks super nice!! Congrats!

So Electronic Ensemble and Russant are identical? That's why it always sounds so familiar to me, when I play either record. Great stuff.

Europa has burned, and will burn again

"Queen, that cover of Electronic Ensemble looks super nice!! Congrats!"
-> yeah, i thought so too! and thank you... smile

"So Electronic Ensemble and Russant are identical?"
-> i would say so! the it happened then track sounds the same on all 3 records (if i remember it well... maybe i should check it again).

"That's why it always sounds so familiar to me, when I play either record. Great stuff."
-> yeah, that carry the can track by russant also has the same sounds... and it's also the same style, only a bit more powerful maybe.

check: http://www.discogs.com/Electronic-Ensem … se/1796505

i also found another it happened then 7" some while ago on mach I (with a different track on the b-side).
first i thought it's a bootleg or something because it looks pretty new.
so i did some research back then and it seems to be the label of pete baker himself.
was writing him an e-mail on youtube about it. but never got a reply.
check: http://www.discogs.com/Russant-It-Happe … se/1724037

the dance reaction 7" is also nice because of the cool cover!
check: http://www.discogs.com/Dance-Reaction-D … se/1796495

Yes, very nice/funny of that german pressing on polydor. smile You even have another pressing.....such luxury! I only have that coverversion on Gigolo which I also like.

-> i knew that there was one with a cover on ariola... but it's different! check: http://www.laamella.com/danny/electronic_ensemble/
after readying the story i wonder if the one on superstition records (discogs) is actually the one on ariola... really mysterious!
