Re: depeche mode

anyone ever been to the Olympistadion in Berlin for such a concert???
is it really important for which Block and Place your ticket is or can you go anywhere in the stadium?
my fellow robot already has her ticket and i wonder if i must buy a ticket in her block to be together with her in the stadium.

i was a huge fan of dm as a teenie 87-91 and saw them in 90 in Deutschlandhalle in Berlin and only heard them 87 from outside the venue they played in in east-berlin because i could'nt get in. but we were hundreds of eastberliners outside the venue! since 91 i had not the slightest interest in them anymore but i thought i could be a cool experience seeing them live again after i saw the song-playlist with all the old songs.

if nobody knows - how is it in other stadiums?

tickets for zagreb were around 50 euro, all were sold out. now this cancellation...there's still a chance for the new date. if so, hopefully the support bands will be the same ones

Re: depeche mode

Really don't want to see Depeche Mode again. On the last tour I was in (almost) backstage at Zagreb concert and the sight (& sound) of Dave reading hidden screen with lyrics (yes, karaoke style in different colours moving up & down) was awful. How wasted you must be to forget Enjoy the silence lyrics?

Near him was Martin pretending to be a rock star on neverending line of guitars which he used to play one dramatic tone.

All the synths were hidden on some plastic stage attrocity of design. After the concert they ordered (yes, ordered) 20 mannequins for the private after-party at the hotels. But they decided not to attend it. Instead, they went to spa to enjoy some OGO water and massage.

Hm, that's not the Depeche Mode I liked.

I guess the new tour will be the same.

:sigh:

...and the new album sucks pretty bad, maybe its time to stop hmm

Re: depeche mode

Depeche Mode lost it after 'Violator', their insistence on using comparatively organic/live instrumentation, and most notably Alan Wilder's departure. Sure, tracks like 'Personal Jesus', 'It's Not Good' and a couple more were notable exceptions, but I can't say much about the rest...

Exactly, I didn't need a second time to listen to it (to get better big_smile)
Very uninspired, I like only Fragile Tension & Jezebel...and I liked most of Playing the angel
For me the best was Ultra hands down, but opinions are like assholes...

Re: depeche mode

nope, songs of faith and devotion & ultra are the worst albums

And Exciter and Playing The Angel are even worse.. Haven't heard a new album yet but I guess it's the same boring shit as they do for last 10 years..

ps. Tickets for the Moscow show cost around 200 euros, it's fuckin' insane.

that's a nice deal idd!
AND you don't have to swallow Moby in advance tongue
I don't mind Duffy though.. although someone like Jill Scott would've been 10x better, but it's a first class commercial event h
