Maxwell Street Flea Market holds a special place in my heart. It has a long history. When I was a child we would go to church around the corner from this vibrant explosion of stores, outdoor vendors, food and music, mostly Blues but House was already going on so there were a couple people selling dance music mixtapes as well. After mass we would take a stroll through the market. Wonderful memories.
