What about Transparent Illusion ?
For 600$ every record is overrated to me (until now at least).

class info is another one yeah. But really, what genre do you mean? one song sounds more darkwavish the other more EBMish with those cheap boytronic effects, digital synths and piano sounds. not really representative to the genre IMO.
Knowing who hyped the record doesnt help me appreciate the market value either.

transparent illusion is like the iPhone of minimal synth... Everybody has examples of artists they like better or feel capture the spirit of the genre better, but it's the de facto standard (actively enforced by the Royal Council of Top Collectors) everybody uses to compare other records and artists with

lol

it is just a rare record, already in the mid 90s dealers made a hype. the record itself is just "okay" - the voice is terrible imo.
(If I use "...like the iPhone" for myself I would say it was Ceramic Hello or Arthur Harrison/Rupert Chappelle)
Knowing who hyped the record doesnt help me appreciate the market value either.
Now i'm curious... who did hype this record? and can one person really claim to singlehandedly push up the prices?
i like cheap boytronic effects btw
erucsbo sold some copies over the years (he bought the leftover stock) and he seems very adept at talking up his goods to some of the guys that have lots of money to spend...he has "oversold" quite a few IMO mediocre records for ridiculous prices in the past so he definately has a nose for it.
then again it goes up for sale very rarily and there seems high demand for it so who am I?
Can someone explane me this?

Blue Room is on a Best of Italo comp ya'd pick up for beans.
Discogs i kinda curious. At least ebay has a free market feel to it, a laissez faire of lunatics.
Discogs is just ludicrious most of the time, with shipping prices being astronomical most of the time.
It started off well but has now just been hijacked by total merchants.

about the last one: I think it is meant as a joke
and Guliano is weird guy, it's possible that he changes his prices within a month to normal prices, when scrolling through his list he looks as a strange seller at first sight but I've bought a couple of times from him and everything always went very smooth and his shippingprices were very reanonable. But well, seeing his prices now I'm afraid he's suffering from a strange flue or something
I mostly collect ambient and there's one item in my wantlist of which the prices are just rediculous, this one:
http://www.discogs.com/Yagya-Rhythm-Of- … ease/31061
no way that I'll ever pay that for this cd, even not for half of the lowest price there.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? … K:MEWAX:IT
and reserve not met yet
should be sold between 1000 - 1500 GBP
That Joy Division record I would think to sell in the $400

wow and so many copies sold showing just on popsike alone. how's that for rare?
For those who might wonder/are curious I put the prices behind. Expecting knakenpoetser-reactions by some (so I'm prepared ;-). All records are EX+/NM b.t.w.
"Invested" in these:
Danny Keith - Love Me Again (Crash) 70
"Are you loving?"
cool, Scarface - all bought in one action? You got some extra money from stockmarket manipulation?
regarding LICHT UND BLINDHEIT:
the original release is the one and only which was limited and is very expensive.
all others are represses from the 80ies and 90ies - some of them are also quite scarce but not in the same category ...
