i am not sure about that, i heard also that some italian producer from the old days said that this "rumors" about low pressing amounts are in most cases just rumors and that because of technical reasons there were always bigger pressing amounts ...
but i am not sure who said this ...
and hey, there are so many records from which people are saying that this records "are the rarest"

number of pressed copies is not always the same...
sometimes you have 2500, sometimes 1000, sometimes 500 .
and there were lots of italo- titles which have been pressed 500 x only.
although its true that there is just a small difference concerning the price.
Mr. Lombardoni is/ was crazy....but not crazy enough to press 1000 or more
of each release from SENSATION label (for example)...haha
