But yeah, it's much healthier to think that everything you find which adds anything to what you already got is a bonus. And not like if I don't find what's on my wantlist then I've had a bad day.
i usually come home with lots of interesting stuff, but nothing from my wantlist.. for me its more important to have my collection with me, so i dont buy anything i already have..

No, I don't Have em all - Don't let this be misunderstood, but I DO have found all the Stuff >I< was looking for the last 20 years. So NO wants yet.

Last week I ordered (again) a CD I seemed to have allready (happens to me all the time lately... Aldsheimer???)
oh, don't get me wrong, guys... it's not that i check my wantlist all the time (i don't even have one on discogs) and only try to find the stuff that's on there. but sometimes i overlook stuff, because i'm very bad with artists and titles, i need the cover or the label artwork to remember.

I always try to make it from the start at 9.00u on a saturday. There's a long que in front of the entrance then which means waiting... It gets rewarded though because it's relatively calm then when you're in. Around 12.00u. is when it gets pretty crowded normally which makes the digging less pleasant i.m.o.

Sooow...I'd say again a very nice episode in this ongoing Utrechtrecordfair-saga. Quite some robots around (you know who you are) though I've missed meeting a few I guess (Raoul for example...) but also some first time meetings (Narcisco, nice!). And next time for you Mr. Maximal...(?) Phaeax......you made it this time finally goser!
Somehow a fair makes me (and lots of others I think) a real "knakenpoetser" because I (people) want to score that one (or more) record(s) for rockbottom-price. So lots of (relative) bargains especially at the stand of those French guys who had lot of cheap italo and disco-pressings on Carrere, Jonathan, Flarenasch, In the Mix etc. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea but for me a cheap/nice way of finding out about other (sometimes cornier) stuff. But also bought some more expensive records too. Most expensive was 25euro's for Parade Ground which was a bit too much I see now. Also quite some Hi-NRG/Bobby O-stuff this time. And ofcourse thanks for the tips (marked with a +) given by others robots....

-> ah, not really... i mean it should be all about digging if you visit a record fair and not about drinking coffee. don't get me wrong sitting there drinking coffee, eating sweets, meeting other addicts, checking out what they found etc. is also an important part. and hey, our gang is getting bigger and bigger with each meeting that's really cool. but digging should be #1, of course. and what i really like about us is that there is not really a competition, you know? you give tips to me and i give tips back to you, quid pro quo or simply robots for robots! that's lovely...
