that voice from Angst Bleibt is taken from one of those records that have the events of the year on it, with speeches etc and a voice over describing the events. this was a german record about the year 1986, and the subject is the chernobyl disaster..

i always love those deep, serious sounding german voiceover speakers.. big_smile

This album is really good for a full/extended listening, I don't like returning to the decks 4 times to play the full album, so a cd release is great.

do you actually record every track on tape? No processing in the computer?
So that the vinyl has actually a purely analog signal chain? Or is the laquer cut from a CD?

sorry guys, was away for a while.

@hyboid: the laquer is cut from cd, but everything is directly recorded to tape without processing. only at the pressing plant, there was some gentle eq-correction.  i'd love to do an AAA record with only an analogiue sign al path, but the adjusting of both tape recorders is a huge pain in the ass.
