I guess I'll still have my Technics but stop DJ'ing then. For me it kills the feel and creativity (even though I never tried playing with a Laptop or an I-Pad).
It just aint no fun if I can't feel a record under my fingers and the weight of my record bag pulling on my arms. 
Normally I'm very open to new technology but in this case I rather stay melancholic and old-school.

Even despite of DJ'ing i don't see any use for this totally overpriced gadjet right now. 
But I can't tell for sure what'll be in 2 years time.
I don't see the use of tons of overpriced gagets right now eg: hybrid cars, webphones, heartbeatmeeters, microwaves, flatscreen tv's, electric blankeds, ipod mixers, ipod docks, ipod belts, ipod shuffles, telephones with anoying tunes, smartphones, mobile phones in general, etcetc.... but they still exist for some reason so there have to be people out there buying this shit (and sometimes, like with mobile phones, you're almost obligated to buy this shit not to isolate yourself from society)....

But when you connect it trough your smartphone and blue-tooth it to various ipads that are hung in the room while you're playing mp3's from your macbook with a traktor usb controller it's even better
