Scootermusic always made me feel being fucked in the ass by Scooter! Very hardcore, indeed, but I never liked it. 
Maybe they got their name from the character in the movie „Moon 44“.

Crap music is crap music. I'm not going to enjoy it to have some "fun" or to be less serious.
There's a lot of music outthere that's fun or not serious and quality as well.
I just think Scooter is crap.

its a joke, but 15 years the same joke is not funny anymore to me.
It's not like I listen to this all day but I have fond memories of it and even like it when it's 15 years later. That's "quality" enough for me...and not crap... Obviously Scooter is aiming at this by making a "new" track. I can't really have a problem with that or take it too serious but I am still able to enjoy this as it was 15 years ago. You don't? Well, I do...fair deal. You can't please everyone, now can you????

To speak seriously, for just a moment (then i'll go back to be unfunny again) in 1999 I was working for a music distributor that had big ties with PIAS. At the same time I remembered Scooter from when I was in my middle teens when MTV in the UK was MTV Europe and we had presenters with strange new accents and bands that, though popular all over the mainland, just didn't strike the same chord on the island.
Walking through the racks in work, pulling CDs and Vinyl for an order I came across a video compilation of scooter's hits. I took it home and smoked a lot of a popular illegal plant (something I don't do any more, this might be the reason)
This is where my fondness of the band came from, I probably have some kind of cultural distance from the music, but there was no point where I could explain what I was seeing and hearing and the questions I had are still unanswered fully
a) at what point did the members of scooter think this was a good idea?
b) who encouraged them past this point?
c) why did it strike such a chord with people?
I suppose this is fascination, not love. I would go see them live if i could afford a ticket, mainly just to see what kind of people would go. Would it be a bunch of nerdy boys there to see who else goes? That would be funny.
I'm going to check out the other name mentioned now.
