Cheers, just wish we were down for the friday it looked like a total riot, by the time we arrived we were burst, but then it looked like everyone else was as well.

in Rimini...
that will be ubercoolex
only problem is I've no idea how that could be done without some insane ticket price, like normal festival rates, plus everyone would have to pay airfare...
we'll probably just have to keep pretending our hardest that London is Rimini!
London is Rimini!
deep down, in the pit of its soul... it is.

Its a good idea...
A couple of Irish promoters have done a similar thing with a festival called 'Airbound'. The majority of people at that festival will be from Ireland and the UK if not all...
So it can be done

too tempting not to investigate - cheers for the hot tip!
Bloody hell, that Airbound festival looks class, wish I'd found out about it before now. Magic Waves in the sun would be fucking amazing, come on James, you know it makes sense!
The Big Chill used to do a weekend festival in a hotel on Naxos (I think)... I reckon if you could sort out a deal on a hotel and had it somewhere where there are plenty of cheap flights then it would be a winner... once you've paid for travel, hotel, food etc. London isn't a particularly cheap option.
immense weekend - fair play for all who helped put it together, played at it and danced at it.
great to meet up with robotic friends, old and new.

there are at least three such festivals taking place at petrcane for the past few summers...and all are primarily promoted in UK and irleland, not here locally. so yes, that could be an option for magic waves too..
i'm having visions of listening to playback fantasy with the late evening sun shimmering on the med...
it's making my heart race... please oh please! i would start planning for that trip instantly!
I'm seriously going to look into it, have no fear
